On show in Onslow
This weekend I had the opportunity to perform a little cabaret magic to the members of The Onlsow Village Residents’ Association.
I perform my stage show in all kinds of venues including corporate banquets, motivational events and theatres. However, the current popularity of close-up magic, has meant that there aren’t quite as many opportunities to perform in front of bigger audiences as there used to be.
As much as I love the intimacy of close-up magic, going up on stage gives me the opportunity to spend forty minutes really establishing a relationship with an audience, so there’s lots of opportunity to really build the fun and laughter.

As well as performing some old favourites, I was also able to try out some new material as well. The somewhat grainy picture to the left shows me with organiser, Marian De Kretser - we’d just been doing a little mid-reading with a hypnotic raccoon. You know, like you do! |
I received some really lovely feedback at the end of the evening so I’d like to convey my thanks to all those who took the time to let me know how much they’d enjoyed the show.
